FILAMO supported MODIV (2019-2022), a focus group of mid- and early-carreer scientists working on modelling plankton biodiversity, the better integration and use of observational data in these models, as well as promoting their value for societal impact and transfer of knowledge from science to policy and other user groups.

MODIV presented work at two conferences, the Advances in Marine Ecosystem Modelling Research (AMEMR) conferences (12-15 July 2021) and at the ASLO Aquatic Science meeting (23-25 June 2021). A peer-reviewed publication providing an overview of the work can be found here.
